The Role:







We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III with experience in web development, specializing in Adobe Commerce. This role will support the rollout of new web servers using a cloud provider and contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance eCommerce solutions.




Reports To: Ecommerce Manager






Key Responsibilities




Design, develop, and maintain custom Adobe Commerce modules, themes, and integrations. Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and manage web servers in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Ensure application performance, scalability, and security across the Adobe Commerce stack (PHP, MySQL, RabbitMQ) Participate in architectural planning, code reviews, and technical documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across front-end and back-end systems. Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Work cross-functionally with Product, QA, and Design teams to deliver high-quality solutions.



Requirements:




Experience in software engineering, with a focus on web and eCommerce development. Deep expertise in Adobe Commerce, including custom module development and theming. Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and MySQL. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and server provisioning. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Git. Experience with Linux-based environments, Nginx/Apache, and monitoring tools



DevOps Skills:






Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of automated deployment, configuration management, and log aggregation. Familiarity with security best practices in cloud and eCommerce environments.



Required Soft Skills:





Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines. Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities. High level of accountability, initiative, and attention to detail. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
