C# .NET Software Engineer

with strong AWS cloud skills

to deliver high-quality solutions, mentor others, and uphold coding standards.

About the Role


Based in Milton Keynes, UK, you'll work with the local team on our microservice-based SaaS offerings integrating various third-party web services.

What you'll be doing:



Independently design, develop, test, and maintain .NET software for cloud and on-premises under guidance from the Head of Development. Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) to ensure code quality and optimise code for performance. Take part in code reviews, collaborate with QA, architects, and product owners, and mentor developers. Maintain and optimise secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and more. Analyse and resolve application errors, support UAT teams, and assist with system migrations or integrations. Engage in Agile ceremonies, prepare releases through Microsoft CI/CD pipelines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

About you:



You'll be based within daily commuting distance to our office in Milton Keynes and have full rights to work in the UK.

using the .NET framework for both cloud-based and on-premises environments.

At least 6+ years of experience in C#.NET and .NET Core development. Strong knowledge of AWS cloud Solid understanding of OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and TDD. Experience with version control systems such as TFS or Git. Proficient with API technologies.

To be specific, we are looking for:



Programming Languages:



C#.NET, Node JS, RESTful API

AWS Stack:



CloudFormation, Lambda Functions, EC2, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, Amazon Connect, API Gateway

Bonus to have:



Programming Languages:

Python, SQL

AWS Stack:

Cognito, Athena, Event Bridge, Kinesis Streams

Knowledge of location services, GIS, or geospatial technologies
