Our Engineering Team operates across two key development centres - New Malden in the UK and Hamburg in Germany - collaborating closely to develop and maintain Sperry Marine's diverse product portfolio and support an ambitious future roadmap.

We are seeking a

Software Engineer

to join our Engineering Department in New Malden on a

9-12 month contract.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments and combines technical expertise with strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.



Key Responsibilities




Contribute to full life-cycle software development Diagnose and resolve software issues experienced in the field Participate in AGILE-based development processes Engage in code reviews and regular team meetings Liaise with System Test teams on development progress Provide technical leadership within the team

About You

Strong analytical skills and experience reviewing code/design for large projects Extensive experience with multi-threaded and distributed applications, ideally with network protocol knowledge Proven background in software development (8+ years preferred) Expertise in developing Windows desktop applications using C# Experience with .NET, Windows Forms, and TCP/IP & UDP protocols Strong communicator and collaborative team player Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused
