Role Overview:
The role of Software Engineer focuses on manufacturing IT system development, data management, and data analysis, supporting the advancement of our cutting-edge production technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate innovation, creativity, and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, along with a strong desire for continuous technical and professional growth. Working as part of a collaborative Engineering team, the successful applicant will contribute to a dynamic and challenging environment, driving improvements and solutions within a technology-led manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance existing manufacturing IT systems to ensure reliability and
performance. Take ownership of production-level systems, including deployment, monitoring, and
ongoing support. Contribute to the design, development, and integration of new software solutions that
support manufacturing operations. Collaborate closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to understand requirements
and deliver effective technical solutions. Develop, test, and optimize software applications for efficient data collection, analysis,
visualization, and communication. Identify opportunities to improve system functionality and support the adoption of
innovative technologies within production environments.
Essential Criteria:
Relevant engineering/science degree.
Experience working with PHP, ReactJS, JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work
cross-functionally with engineering and production teams. Demonstrates initiative and responsibility for delivering high-quality results and maintaining
system integrity within deadlines. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of tasks from concept
to delivery. Eager to expand technical and professional knowledge, and apply new skills to projects.
Demonstrates creativity in problem-solving and a passion for developing new ideas.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience with Gitlab/GitHub.
Experience working with JSON document databases (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase).
Flexible and proactive in supporting operational needs as required.
