Due to continued growth, we are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our specialized team dedicated to developing cutting-edge WMS solutions for high profile clients

Role Overview:


As a Software Engineer at Logistex, you'll be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that drive our advanced automated systems. You'll work with a talented and collaborative team to create software that powers the next generation of logistics and material handling systems.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and maintain software applications that control our automated warehouse systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver tailored software solutions based on project specifications. Work on system integration and ensure that software interfaces smoothly with hardware and control systems. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to optimise software performance and resolve issues. Participate in the full software development lifecycle--from design and development to implementation and support.

Qualifications & Experience:



Education:

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., C++ Java, etc.). Experience in C/C++ and Java Competent in Linux (Unix) based operating systems and able to write shell scripts 0.5 - 3 years' experience in use of programming languages Familiar with coding standards Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or automation systems is a bonus.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Collaboration:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
