Description & Requirements



We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud MT team in the transition of Infor MES from an on-premise solution to a multi-tenant cloud SaaS platform on AWS. As a key technical contributor, you will work closely under the guidance of the Principal Engineer to implement cloud-native features, ensure scalability, reliability, and assist in zero downtime deployments. Your hands-on expertise in .NET, AWS services, and cloud architecture will be essential to delivering a seamless and performant SaaS product.





A Day in The Life Typically Includes:



Collaborate with the MES Engineers and cross-functional teams to build and refactor Infor MES components for cloud-native, multi-tenant deployment. Develop, test, and maintain backend services primarily in .NET Core aligned with AWS cloud best practices. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated, zero downtime deployments using AWS services and DevOps tools. Assist in designing and maintaining scalable microservices, containerized applications (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless components. Integrate comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to improve system observability and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and application issues promptly. Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, and contribute to technical documentation. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements for the MES SaaS platform. Support security and compliance initiatives under the direction of engineering leadership.

Basic Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Professional software engineering experience, with strong emphasis on .NET Core/Framework development. Practical experience migrating or building software on AWS cloud platforms including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM. Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, and multi-tenant SaaS design principles. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment automation techniques ensuring zero downtime. Experience implementing logging and monitoring using tools such as ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, or AWS CloudWatch. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven AWS services. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks. Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps culture. Previous work experience in manufacturing or MES software domains is a plus. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect.
