Software Engineer

to work as part of the SaaS Business Unit.

Salary:

Circa 55,000 (advertised salary achievable for a candidate fulfilling all role criteria)

About the Role

Develop and Optimise Core Features: Enhance the software solution by coding and optimising high-performance APIs and building robust, responsive web applications Integration and Maintenance: Support and refine scanning capabilities (iOS development Swift) to improve property measurements and 3D modelling for accurate feasibility assessments. Collaboration Across Teams: Partner with product, UX/UI, and backend teams to deliver seamless integration between mobile and web components hosted Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor system performance, address software bugs, and optimise APIs to ensure responsiveness, reliability, and scalability. Innovate and Adapt: Incorporate customer feedback to iterate on features and explore emerging technologies to enhance the precision and user experience of the pre-sales quoting process

About You

Preferred Technical Expertise working in Next.js, Typescript, React, Supabase, PostgreSQL and Vercel. Nice to have experience in Python programming and FastAPI framework. LiDAR and Mobile Development: Familiarity of iOS development with Swift or mobile frameworks to support LiDAR-based scanning solutions. Cloud Hosting and CI/CD. Experience with deployment platforms like Vercel, Render, and version control using GitHub. Strong Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimise complex applications for high performance and scalability. Knowledge of processing 3D Data and generating models to aid real-world applications Experience working in Agile environments with excellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills. Mechanical/Thermal Engineering Insight (Optional): Background or understanding of thermal and mechanical engineering
