As a Software Engineering Senior Manager within the Corporate CIO team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be designing solutions for our Corporate Customers mainly related to journeys for Lending, Origination, Onboarding, CRM and Cash Handling.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll have an extremely exciting opportunity to work primarily on Java based solutions integrating with cutting edge digital platforms such as Salesforce, AWS and various SaaS solutions that are best in class.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll help drive automation and simplification, new product features and ultimately with the aim to delight our customers and internal teams as part of our Digital First CCB strategy.

  • Designing solutions to drive automation and simplification along with building out new features for Corporate Customers specifically related to Lending, Origination, Onboarding, CRM and Cash Handling.
  • Working mainly with Java, SaaS, Angular, APIs and third party hosted applications to evolve solutions.
  • Collaborating with product owners to capture requirements and groom user stories around a defined roadmap helping to prioritise activities to generate maximum value at the earliest opportunity.
  • Understanding the wider infra position and ensuring that all solutions comply with design principles and end state technology vision.
  • Managing deployments through environments ensuring compliance with all software engineering and change management best practice guidelines.
  • Producing solution architecture documents for programmes and projects within the dept complying with current templates and standards.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring.
  • A strong background in IT delivery, very broad range of technologies worked with during career and ideally strong solution architecture skills.
  • Experience working on user stories to help product owners capture the essence of a requirement well enough to turn in to a tech design\\code.
  • Familiar with agile delivery and ceremonies i.e. sprints, stand ups, kanban\\scrum, retrospectives, demos etc.
  • Comfortable collaborating across broad range of teams and skill sets being confident to vocalise needs and concerns to drive solutions.
  • Line management and coaching of devs and delivery units.
It would also be nice for you to have.
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence and other digital collaboration tools that optimise the execution of Kanban\\Scrum and agile delivery.
  • Knowledge\\skills working with other programming languages other than Java such scala, python, .net etc a benefit.
  • Familiarity with Corporate Bank products particularly loans and relationship management ideal.
  • Any architecture qualifications or training.

This is a permanent role, primarily working 2 days a week from one of our head office sites the rest of the week can be worked remotely.
