oPerforms detailed testing of software applications, systems, and computer games to identify bugs, errors, or performance issues
oDevelops and executes test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to the software or system under review
oIdentifies root causes of technical problems and collaborates with development teams to implement effective fixes
oDocuments test results and tracks software defects using appropriate tools and methodologies
oDefines and maintains quality standards, ensuring all deliverables meet established guidelines
oUses manual and automated testing techniques for efficiency and broader coverage
oConducts validation and verification processes to confirm software functionality aligns with business requirements
oImplements regression testing to ensure new releases do not affect existing functionality
oWorks in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall development environments to support continuous integration and delivery
oLiaises with developers, project managers, and business analysts to understand project scope and testing needs
oContributes to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and best practices
oStrong knowledge of leveraging artificial intelligence tools to automate the software development lifecycle and optimize system processes, driving efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence
oEnsures compliance with industry standards and company policies
oParticipates in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate software from an end-user perspective
oMaintains up-to-date knowledge of testing tools, frameworks, and industry trends
oTypically holds a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or possesses equivalent industry experience and certifications (e.g., ISTQB)
