Due to the companies continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the IT team, responsible for quality assuring our world class software.

The Quality Assurance Tester will assess the quality of our software through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for test planning, test execution, defect reporting, regression testing, release management, and writing high-quality documentation.

You should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills in this role. If you are competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we'd like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly and are fit for purpose.

You will be able to advise the company as to the best testing methodologies and will be instrumental in developing a robust test platform.

The successful candidate will have a track record of testing complex and business-critical software to a high standard, including producing relevant documentation.

Knowledge of agile development processes and automated testing methods for front-end and APIS would also be hugely beneficial.

Advise the company as to the best testing methodologies and drive standards in developing a robust test platform.

Technical Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role Use of automation in testing API's, preferably using Postman or ReadyAPI Working knowledge of test management software, preferably Azure DevOps and Azure Test Plans Experience in testing web and desktop-based software Experience in best practice QA testing methodologies Familiarity with software development, agile frameworks, and software lifecycle. Experience with regression testing is essential Ability to design and execute test plans, write high-quality documentation to aid the development team when reporting issues. Experience querying SQL / NoSQL databases, ideally MS SQL Server and Cosmos DB

1. Interview Screening. Candidates asked to submit an up-to-date CV and a covering letter of no more than 700 words matching their skills and experience to the requirements of the person spec.

2. First stage interview and testing. Competence-based interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 34,000.00-41,000.00 per year
