to join our development team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our platform.

The Role

As an

Experienced Software Tester

, you will take ownership of testing our web-based platform to ensure it meets the highest standards of functionality, usability, and performance. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and support staff to define test strategies and ensure consistent quality across releases. You will be responsible for writing and executing comprehensive manual and automated test scripts and proactively identifying bugs or issues before they reach our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain detailed manual and automated test scripts based on product requirements and user stories Execute thorough regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing across the FastDox platform Collaborate with the development team during the SDLC to create test plans and define acceptance criteria Identify, report, and track bugs and performance issues using our issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira) Create and maintain test documentation and contribute to knowledge base and best practices Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies Support and help define CI/CD test pipelines with developers and DevOps Provide quality feedback and proactively advocate for a culture of continuous testing and improvement

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in software testing or QA, preferably in a SaaS or web-based environment Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) Proficient in writing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and cross-browser testing Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Self-starter who can work independently in a remote-first environment

Desirable Skills

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman Understanding of security testing and accessibility compliance ISTQB or similar testing certification Exposure to Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and tools like Cucumber

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
