Data Scientist



SNCMS UK is seeking a skilled and motivated

Mid-Level Software Test Engineer

to join our dynamic Engineering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing manual test cases, contributing to automation, and ensuring applications are reliable, user friendly, and meet business requirements. You will work closely with developers and product owners, as part of a cross-functional agile team.

Key Responsibilities



Manual Testing & Test Case Creation

.

o Write and execute manual test cases for C# backend services and React frontend applications.

o Test across browsers, devices, and environments to ensure consistent user experiences.

o Log, track, and retest defects to verify fixes.

Automation Contribution

.

o Create and maintain automated test scripts for regression and smoke testing.

o Use automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress) to support test coverage.

o Enhance automation practices and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

.

o Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, providing input on testing needs.

o Review requirements and acceptance criteria to identify potential test gaps.

o Share knowledge with peers and contribute to improving the QA processes.

Person Specification



Qualifications & Experience



2-4 years of experience as a

QA/Test Engineer

in a software development environment.

Proficiency with

C#

for writing test cases and automation scripts.

Hands-on experience testing

React-based web applications

.

Familiarity with

automation tools

such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

Experience with

API testing

(Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar).

Comfortable working with

Git

and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Strong attention to detail, with good problem-solving and communication skills.

Technical proficiency: Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement robust testing strategies. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and apply them effectively. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Analytical thinking: Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into test plans. Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to software testing and quality assurance.

Pay: 41,976.00-62,964.00 per year
