Responsibilities:
As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Creating and maintaining comprehensive and user-friendly software documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, and API documentation.
Collaborating closely with development teams to gather technical information and ensure accurate documentation of software features and functionalities.
Reviewing and editing existing documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Participating in software testing and quality assurance processes, including, but not limited to functional, integration, and regression testing.
Identifying and documenting software defects and issues and working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Developing automated testing scripts and frameworks.
Embracing Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to enhance software development and testing processes.
Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to software documentation, testing, and quality assurance.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
Strong proficiency in creating clear, concise, and well-structured documentation.
Proficient with software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
Proven experience of working within large software teams.
Obtained testing certification from a body such as ISTQB.
Experience with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in the software development domain.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Prior experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages.
A passion for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
