Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Solar Installer Engineer

to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role, where you'll play a key part in delivering safe, efficient, and high-standard solar installations. You'll be working both independently and as part of a supportive team, with opportunities to further develop your skills in the electrical and renewable energy sector.

Duties

Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal installation locations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation or maintenance. Perform regular maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Maintain solar PV systems at a variety of sites. Ensure compliance with all health & safety standards and relevant regulations. Carry out work to the highest technical and quality standards. Support with electrical work as needed. Travel to different sites, maintaining professionalism and strong client communication at all times.

Skills

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to solar installation tasks. Mechanical knowledge to understand system components and their functions. Electrical experience is essential for connecting solar panels to existing electrical systems. Experience operating an excavator for site preparation may be advantageous. Requirements

Minimum

2 years' experience

in solar installation (essential). Full UK Driving Licence (essential). Own vehicle to travel to site (preferred). Experience supporting with electrical work (advantageous). Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality and safety. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Pay: 24,420.00-59,872.76 per year
