Our busy operations team are looking to recruit an "all rounder" who can easily fit into the team at our office in Maidenhead. Now is a great time to be joining us on our incredible journey!

Reporting into the Operations manager the role will have the below duties:

Designing Residential Solar PV Systems: Using specialised software, you'll create bespoke solar panel layouts for residential properties, optimising for energy generation, aesthetics, and structural integrity. Site Analysis & Data Interpretation: Reviewing site surveys, roof plans, and other relevant data to inform your designs and ensure accuracy. System Sizing & Performance Calculations: Determining appropriate system sizes based on energy consumption, calculating expected energy output, and selecting suitable components. Preparing Design Documentation: Creating detailed plans, schematics, and material lists for our installation teams. Conducting Installation Quality Reviews: Collaborating with our installation teams to review completed projects, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality, safety, and design specifications. Providing Technical Support: Assisting both internal teams and sometimes customers with technical queries related to solar PV systems. Staying Current: Keeping up-to-date with the latest solar technology, industry regulations, and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have:

A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is a must! A relevant qualification or work experience in engineering, renewable energy, architecture, or a related technical field is preferred, but demonstrable interest and a willingness to learn are equally valued. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Proficiency with CAD software or a willingness to learn design software specific to solar PV. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with colleagues and understanding client needs. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A proactive attitude and a desire to take ownership of your work.
Useful Experience:

CAD, CAM, Auto-design Working in an office environment

Salary: From 25,396.80 per annum.
