We are a renewable energy company specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems. Since 2020, we have been delivering high-quality solutions for both domestic and commercial properties across London and the Home Counties. In addition, we also provide Electric Vehicle (EV) charging installations.

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified electrician to join our team as a Solar PV and Battery Storage Installer. The role involves designing, installing, and testing Photovoltaic (PV) systems, Battery Storage (BS) systems, and EV charging points in line with detailed project specifications.

The successful candidate will also work alongside and supervise a trainee or junior electrician, delegating tasks as appropriate.

Requirements

Fully qualified electrician with at least 3 years' hands-on experience working to BS7671 on three-phase systems in a commercial environment. Current edition BS7671 qualification. Gold ECS card (or equivalent). Ability to install, test, and commission PV, Battery Storage, and EV electrical circuits. Full UK driving licence. Additional PV or EV-specific qualifications are advantageous, but not essential--training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret project requirements and determine all necessary components for installation. Produce appropriate documentation of circuits and components, liaising with clients or their electrical contractors to coordinate integration with other on-site systems. Install systems to a high standard, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and neatly. Photograph and document all installed components. Maintain clear, professional communication with the in-house engineering team and provide daily progress updates. Supervise and guide trainee electricians as needed.

Plan ahead to anticipate potential issues and ensure all equipment is ready before starting a job. Be proactive in asking questions when clarification is needed--this supports learning and reduces errors. Be open about mistakes and work collaboratively to resolve them. Value punctuality: plan travel time carefully and communicate promptly with the Installation Manager in case of unavoidable delays.
