We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with electrical systems, and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools. This position requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship while contributing to the advancement of renewable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar installations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations. Perform electrical connections in accordance with local codes and regulations. Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the installation process. Troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation or operation of solar systems. Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on industry best practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in electrical work, preferably in solar installation or related fields. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction and installation tasks. 18th edition in electrical Strong electrical knowledge, with the ability to understand system layouts and schematics. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. A valid driver's licence is needed for travel between job sites
