We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer to join our renewable energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing solar photovoltaic systems on various sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are maintained throughout the process. Responsibilities

Prepare installation sites by assessing the location of solar modules ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, mount, and connect solar panels, inverters, and related electrical components. Install mounting systems on rooftops or ground-mounted structures, ensuring stability and alignment. Conduct system testing post-installation to verify functionality and safety standards are met. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of electrical systems related to solar installations. Ability to demonstrate roofing or carpentry skills and experience in installing solar panels. Ability to read technical drawings and installation manuals accurately. Good organisational skills with attention to detail for precise installation work. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues and clients.
