Electrical Engineer - Solar

We are currently looking for a O&M Electrical Engineer to support our M&E team, this is a fantastic role that will allow the successful candidate to flourish in a collaborative, supportive and customer focused environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections and electrical testing of existing Solar PV installations. Analyse on-site test results in conjunction with data from remote monitoring systems to identify performance issues. Carry out remedial works to maintain optimal system generation, including replacement of isolators, inverters, and PV modules. Complete all work-related documentation accurately, maintain detailed logs, and schedule routine and reactive inspections. Obtain quotes and liaise with suppliers for the procurement of replacement parts and equipment. Report all findings, actions taken, and recommendations to the O&M management team within agreed SLA timeframes.

What you need

Level 3 Award, BS7671 18th Edition, Inspection and Testing 2391. SMSTS First Aid Certificate Asbestos Awareness 18th Edition ECS Approved Electrician Card C&G 2391-52 Inspection & Testing BPEC (or similar) Solar PV Installation and Maintenance Working at Height
