Solicitor / Associate - Commercial Property



Based in Chester with hybrid working, full time, Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm



The role



Due to continued success and the consistent growth of our Commercial Property department, we are now looking for an experienced Lawyer to join our team in Chester.

You will enjoy running your own busy commercial property case load from the outset, delivering an attentive, technically excellent client service to a range of clients from start-ups to SME's, owner managed businesses and national clients. Your role will involve high levels of client contact and you will work with many of our long standing clients, as well as developing your own key relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:



Working autonomously on a broad variety of transactions, you'll be seeking to strike the balance between managing the legal risk and getting the deal done for your clients.

Managing a varied caseload including commercial acquisitions and disposals, auctions, development work, re-financing, Landlord & Tenant, leases, underleases and assignments

Dealing with matters from initial contact through to completion, including drafting contracts and negotiating leases

Assisting Partners with high value and/or complex commercial property matters

Identifying and attending key networking and other business events to contribute to the development of the sales pipeline

What we're looking for:



Commercially astute Solicitor / Associate with ideally 4+ years PQE and a credible background of working in commercial property You will ideally have a background in planning and development Strong technical capability with excellent drafting skills Proven ability to thoroughly assess client requirements and deliver commercial solutions Track record of building profitable and long standing relationships with clients Passionate about delivering a proactive, client focused and tailored service and able to confidently communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Team player who can effectively build cross departmental relationships and generate additional referrals into the business. Able to work within a fast paced, team environment, effectively managing priorities to meet deadlines. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary dependent on skills and experience.
