Civil Solicitor

You'll be part of a supportive team known for its personal approach and professional standards, handling a broad and interesting caseload that keeps every day varied and rewarding. As a Civil Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in navigating the complexities of civil law, providing expert legal advice and representation to clients in various civil matters. Your work will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from drafting legal documents to representing clients in court. With your strong analytical skills and attention to detail, you will ensure that our clients receive the highest level of legal service while contributing to the overall success of our firm.

What you'll do

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a well regarded rural practice. You will handle a varied caseload within our Civil Department Landlord & Tenant matters
We also hold a contract with Staffordshire County Council to support young businesses, providing advisory and legal services to new and growing enterprises in the region -offering you the chance to engage with a diverse and dynamic client base.

Our client base is primarily rural, so an interest or background in equine or countryside

matters would be advantageous, though not essential

Equine disputes Misrepresentation claims Consumer rights and breach of contract claims Some commercial work HR and employment matters Wills and estate administration disputes

Basic qualifications

Strong understanding of civil law principles and practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction and technical writing.

Preferred qualifications

Requirements

Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) Minimum 1 year PQE with civil law experience Strong client care and communication skills Ability to manage a varied and sometimes complex caseload Proactive, professional, and team-oriented approach
