Overall job purpose
To be responsible for leading on the Council's Corporate Concerns and Complaints Policy and acting as the single point of contact and primary advisor to all relevant staff and the public in relation to complaints; and to act as the single point of contact for the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales.
To provide professional support and advice to the Data Protection Officer on all matters relating to the Access to Information Legislation. To act as a point of contact for the Council with the Information Commissioner in relation to access to information.
To assist the Monitoring Officer and the Legal Services Manager in respect of general matters of corporate governance.
