At Anthony Collins, we use law to create positive change in society. Our Employment & Pensions team helps charities, housing providers, care organisations, local authorities, and schools support their communities.



We're looking for a solicitor (ideally 1-4 PQE in Employment & Pensions) but we are also open to newly qualified candidates to join our friendly, specialist team in Birmingham or Manchester. The role is a 12-Month FTC to cover Maternity leave.

In this role, you will:

Manage Employment Tribunal claims for Respondents, including drafting, hearings prep, and advocacy where appropriate Advise on employment status, working arrangements, and TUPE transfers Support clients with employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, whistleblowing, and discrimination Advise on reorganisations, redundancies, and settlement agreements Build strong relationships with clients who are making a difference Draft and advise on contracts, HR policies, and procedures




About the candidate

Newly Qualified or Qualified solicitor with experience in Employment & Pensions law (ideally 1-4 PQE) You will be confident managing your own caseload, with support when needed Have strong drafting and advisory skills Be able to build and maintain trusted client relationships You will be a clear communicator who can provide practical, solutions-focused advice Committed to delivering excellent client care You will be looking to develop your expertise while working on meaningful, impactful matters
