About the Role



We are seeking a motivated and detail?oriented

Solicitor (0-2 PQE) or CILEX qualified professional with litigation rights

to join our dynamic

Litigation Department

. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a supportive environment while managing a caseload of

Small, Fast, and Intermediate Track RTA claims

involving personal injury and/or credit hire.

You will take ownership of claims from the point proceedings are issued through to receipt of Defence, applying strong technical expertise and client care skills to deliver excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities



Manage a portfolio of litigated RTA personal injury and/or credit hire claims (Small, Fast, Intermediate Track). Review cases, assess suitability for litigation, and ensure compliance with CPR, protocols, SLA's, and KPI's. Assess liability and quantum, advising clients on prospects of success. Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documents with precision. Negotiate settlements with insurers, third parties, and opposing solicitors. Maintain accurate records and meet billing targets. Contribute to team objectives, actively participating in meetings and collaborative projects. Apply efficient claims handling and management skills with a strong focus on client care. Provide unbiased advice on litigation and costs risks while adopting a commercial approach to settlements. Ensure compliance through proactive file reviews and issue reporting.

: Strong knowledge of Fast Track litigated personal injury and credit hire claims; excellent understanding of CPR.

Knowledge & Experience



Required



Qualified Solicitor (0-2 years PQE) or CILEX with litigation rights. Understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and Damages Claims Portal. Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Organised, conscientious, and detail?oriented. Confident decision?maker able to act under own authority.

Desirable



Knowledge of motorcycle claims. Experience handling litigated claims from issue through to Defence. Proficiency in case management systems (ideally Proclaim) and Microsoft Office.
