We are seeking a dedicated and professional Solicitor to join our litigation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for an existing caseload with a mix of pre-litigation and litigated work arising out of breaches of Human Rights. Training in this niche field will be provided to the right candidate with some litigation experience. Responsibilities
Advise clients on legal rights and obligations across a range of issues relating to civil law.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as Letters of Claim and pleadings.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings as required.
Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Liaise with clients, colleagues, and external parties to facilitate smooth communication and case progression.
Stay informed about changes in legislation and legal precedents relevant to the practice areas.
Assist in the development of legal policies and procedures within the organisation.
Qualifications
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with relevant practising certificate.
Proven experience in negotiation within a legal context is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
