Who are we looking for?

The Solution Architect provides expert counsel, governance and support to the development teams in the designing and building new OSS/BSS functionality to support the Gamma roadmaps and strategy.



What will you be doing day-to-day?

Owner of technical designs and decisions for new features and projects. Supporting development teams in implementing of new functionality, while ensuring that the correct processes, standards and patterns are being followed. Work with senior stakeholders to define and understand requirements and define solutions. Work with peers and stakeholders to agree and define architecture standards. Influence future roadmaps made within the OSS/BSS domain. Work with development teams and business stakeholders to ensure the future scalability and extensibilty of the OSS/BSS applications while meeting business expectations. Analyse and document existing systems, to support and design the extension of these. Enable the development teams by producing and overseeing solution designs, ensuring that they adopt best practices and are aligned to the Gamma IT Strategy. Be a technical SME within the BSS/OSS domain.

What you'll need:

Would have come from a development background with expert knowledge in Java and used other programming languages such as PHP or JavaScript. Experience of working within an architecture team and ensuring designs align with existing roadmap and strategy. Experience in providing leadership and guidance to peers. Knowledge of relational and noSQL databases. Expert in influencing others and driving for positive outcomes. Ability to manage multiple priorities and project simultaneously Strong communication skills. Experience in OSS/BSS, end consumer purchasing or financial systems. Knowledge of IT infrastructure. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS. Experience with APIs and web services. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
