Join Capita Public Service as a Solution Consultant - Oracle Fusion




Capita is seeking an experienced Solution Consultant to provide Oracle Fusion expertise across HR, Finance and Payroll modules for a strategic client programme. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical solution architecture and ensure seamless integration with Capita's service delivery model in a multi-phase transformation initiative.




Reporting to the Capita Solution Architect, you will act as a solution SME for Oracle Fusion modules, supporting the development of Capita's overall solution architecture and its integration with the ERP platform.




You'll provide functional leadership to internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment to Oracle Fusion's out-of-the-box capabilities and supporting the creation of technical design deliverables. You'll also contribute to implementation strategies and present solution designs to the client's Design Authority.

What you'll be doing

Act as Oracle Fusion solution architecture and functional capability expert across HR, Finance and Payroll Provide functional expertise to Capita teams to ensure service design aligns with Oracle Fusion capabilities Contribute to technical design deliverables including Solution Architecture Design and High-Level Solution Designs Provide Oracle Fusion inputs to implementation strategies such as testing, environment and cutover Support creation of Capita's Information Security Management System and Security Management Plan Participate in solution design quality assurance processes Present solution designs to the client's Design Authority and secure cross-party agreement Lead alignment of Capita's service design with Oracle Fusion and Capita technical solutions Support internal and external delivery partners in designing their solution elements

What we're looking for

Essential Skills & Experience

Deep experience in implementing Oracle Fusion solutions to include HR, Finance and Payroll Proven track record in functional design leadership within large-scale, multi-party ERP programmes Ability to negotiate and resolve complex technical design issues Experience presenting technical solutions to non-technical audiences Familiarity with implementation strategies including testing, cutover and hypercare Experience working with global technical delivery partners and consulting organisations

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience designing solutions for phased service transfers and interim transition states Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI in shared service environments Experience identifying opportunities for service efficiencies and improved user experience
