The Opportunity



We're hiring a Solutions Architect with a

specialism in enterprise mobility, enterprise printing and device management (MDM/EMM)

. You'll shape solutions that blend rugged mobile devices, scanners, label printers and UEM platforms with line?of?business apps and cloud services--and then lead them from design through successful hand?off. This is a growth role for a hands?on technologist who's ready to take the next step in scope, ownership and customer impact.

What You'll Do



Engage in discovery & pre?sales

: run workshops, assess requirements, create high?level designs (HLDs), BoMs and proposals; contribute to RFPs/RFIs; shape Statements of Work.

Architect solutions end?to?end

: design device fleets using platforms such as

Zebra, Datalogic and Honeywell

(Android Enterprise), including model selection, accessories, staging/provisioning, enrollment and lifecycle strategy.

Enterprise printing

: architect solutions with

Zebra and SATO

printers (mobile, desktop, industrial); design label formats and print pipelines; plan connectivity (USB, BT, WLAN), printer management, and high?availability print services.

MDM/EMM design & governance

: lead policies and profiles in

SOTI MobiControl

and

42Gears SureMDM

(and adjacent tools), including app deployment, lockdown/launcher, certificates/identity, OS update strategy, compliance and reporting.

Software integration

: work with REST APIs, webhooks and SDKs to integrate devices and printers with WMS/ERP/TMS and retail/warehouse apps; produce mapping specs and sequence diagrams; collaborate closely with engineering on adapters and services.

Prototype & validate

: plan and execute PoCs/Pilots; define success criteria; iterate designs based on findings.

Lead delivery

: produce LLDs, configuration guides and test plans; oversee implementation, integration and cutover; ensure quality, performance and resilience.

Assure security & compliance

: apply best practice for identity, device security, network segmentation, data protection and observability.

Document & handover

: create runbooks and diagrams; deliver admin training; transition to support.

Be a trusted advisor

: translate business outcomes into technical roadmaps; communicate trade?offs clearly to technical and non?technical stakeholders.

Continuous improvement

: capture lessons learned; contribute reference architectures, templates and automation to keep us efficient and repeatable.
Ideally candidates will have 3-5 years in one or more of: Solutions Architect, Pre?Sales Engineer, Mobility/Printing Consultant, Systems/Network Engineer, Technical Consultant.

What You'll Bring And What We'll Teach You



Hands?on expertise with

Zebra, Datalogic and Honeywell

mobile devices/scanners (Android Enterprise work profiles, COSU/fully managed), staging tools (e.g., StageNow), and peripherals (cradles, ring scanners, wearables). Strong customer?facing communication: discovery, storytelling, diagramming and presenting to technical and non?technical audiences. Practical experience with

Zebra

and

SATO

printers: label/media selection, printer languages (e.g., ZPL/CPCL/SBPL), drivers/spoolers, print servers, device discovery/management and troubleshooting. Strong

MDM/EMM

skills with

SOTI MobiControl

and

42Gears SureMDM

(policies, content/app distribution, compliance, remote support, reporting); exposure to other UEMs a plus. Networking/Wi?Fi fundamentals (L2/L3, VLANs, DHCP/DNS, 802.11, roaming, WPA2/3?Enterprise, 802.1X/RADIUS) to ensure reliable device and printer connectivity in demanding environments.

Software development & integration literacy

: ability to read/modify API specs; create sample integrations and scripts (PowerShell/Python/Node or similar); use tools like Postman/Swagger; understand event?driven patterns (webhooks, queues) and data formats (JSON/CSV). Proven ability to produce HLD/LLD, BoMs, test plans and handover materials; familiarity with change management and release processes.

Nice?to?Have



Certifications across mobility, printing or UEM (e.g., vendor/partner accreditations for Zebra/Datalogic/Honeywell/SATO; Android Enterprise; SOTI/42Gears), or networking (CCNA/CWNA) and cloud foundations (Azure/AWS). Experience with RFID/RTLS, BLE/UWB beacons, or computer vision; edge compute/IoT gateways; warehouse/WMS integrations. Familiarity with label design tools and template management; print?and?apply/automation equipment; or SOTI Connect/Printer management platforms. Exposure to industries like Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, Transport & Logistics, Field Service, Energy & Utilities.
