Job Description

This opportunity will require a balance of remote working and travel throughout across mainland Europe
Inside IR35 / Umbrella - (all-inclusive day rate) which may be subject to change depending on applicable legislation or solution through which services are performed.
We are currently recruiting for a Business Solutions Architect for a leading customer based across several locations in mainland Europe. The Solutions Architect will spearhead business change and transformation activity, as well as bridging the gap between IT and business functions. This will involve the design and implementation of solutions through liaison with key business stakeholders.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Review current systems, infrastructure, security, and processes to identify improvement opportunities. Collaborate with Transformation, Operations, Applications, and OpCos to design effective solutions
  • Collaborate with IT architects to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective software architectures, supporting technology and platform selection
  • Identify and drive process improvements through data analysis, performance monitoring, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Apply Kaizen methodology to execute continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct process re-engineering to align operational changes with strategic planning.
  • Define and manage timelines, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Track and report progress on implementation activities.
  • Manage and communicate change impacts effectively across stakeholders.
  • Produce technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specs, and implementation plans to support development and deployment
  • Bridge communication between technical teams and clients, translating complex solutions for non-technical stakeholders through meetings and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends, promoting knowledge sharing and teamwork
  • Expertise in MS Office (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and supply chain systems like WMS and TMS
