Design and develop comprehensive solution architectures that meet SEPA's business needs, technical requirements and SEPA's architectural principles, policies, and technology strategy. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the development lifecycle. Conduct regular reviews of existing systems and architectures to identify areas for improvement and optimisation. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure SEPA's solutions remain innovative and effective. Participate in the Architecture Forum and other governance bodies to ensure alignment with SEPA's overall IS governance model.

This is a highly important role within our Finance, Modernisation & Digital portfolio, which means you'll need:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Comprehensive experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, preferably within a public sector or environmental organisation. Comprehensive experience in designing solutions based on business requirements which are aligned to strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of architectural principles, frameworks, and best practices. Experience with cloud computing, data management, and cybersecurity.
