Job Title: Core Banking Solution Architect

To drive consistent, innovative, and scalable technology solutions that meet both strategic and operational goals for Barclays' current account core banking functions. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing robust architectures that support complex business needs across current accounts, loans, and switching journeys.

Key Responsibilities

------------------------

Architecture Leadership:

Lead the design and technical architecture for core banking domains including loans, savings, current accounts, account switching, and payments. Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Partner with project managers, product owners, and business analysts to align technology solutions with business objectives and risk controls, particularly within the current account ecosystem.

Governance & Compliance:

Manage architectural governance processes. Produce and maintain design artefacts that support privacy, records management, and risk mitigation.

Innovation & Advisory:

Advise business and product teams on technology strategy. Support innovation initiatives and technical delivery across the banking landscape.

Vendor & Integration Strategy:

Evaluate and integrate third-party vendor products. Guide systems strategy and automation to reduce manual processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Expertise
