Solutions Architect
Job Description
Xcede\'s Software team are supporting the growth of a Buy-Now-Pay-Later start-up that has been recently acquired by a leading UK Open-Bank with the mission to provide short term loans to individuals at checkout with 0% APR, similar to Klarna, but with a focus on larger \'lifestyle\' items, ranging from automotive parts to gym equipment to home furnishings... the list goes on!
You\'ll be working with tech leads and SMEs across 4 product teams to define and design the POS/BNPL platform while leading the Technical Design Authority and reporting directly to the CTO in an Agile environment.
Requirements:
- Solution Architecture experience as a Software Engineer or Architect
- Experience of application development (ideally PHP)
- AWS preferred to GCP/Azure
- Strong microservices experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent communication skills
95% Remote - office in Stoke
