Job Overview:
We have exciting opportunity for a manufacturing technician to join our solutions manufacturing team.

The successful applicant will provide support services for the manufacturing process in the clean room environment.

Duties:

Manufacture all Solutions to be used in the Leeds production facility for the valve manufacturing process per approved work instructions. Ensure correct manufacture, testing, storage, handling, issue, cleaning and disposition of all products, components, equipment, instruments and solutions per approved work instructions and procedures. Complete production records and other documents in line with good documentation practices (GDP) and internal procedures. Ensure that activities are conducted according to the assigned priorities to support production; directly and indirectly. Support the process and controls for all inventories and raw material supplies. Perform checks of own work and others against specifications and defined failure modes. Complete all operations in accordance with work instructions, good manufacturing practices, good documenting practices in compliance with the JenaValve quality system. Be aware of Health and Safety information for the applicable processes utilised in the organization. Adhere to all health and safety rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others.
Required Education & Experience:

GCSE or equivalent. Experience of manufacturing and GMP Experience of working in a clean room environment and working with medical devices would be an advantage.
Skills & Abilities Required for this Job

Must take initiative and be able to complete hands-on work under guidance. Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions. Must be able to handle single tasks with high attention to detail. Basic computer skills required. Ability to read, comprehend and speak English, and good communication skills required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Must have good documentation skills. Must be able to complete the applicable training requirements. Must understand GMP procedures and be able to work in a controlled environment.
