Your Role:

Our Solutions Stream Lead will direct, encourage and support a team singularly focussed on programs providing autonomous vehicle solutions (software, hardware and operations) to a set of closely related customers in a commercial sector. You will lead a set of individuals singularly focussed on a product providing autonomous vehicle solutions (software, hardware and operations) to a set of closely related customers in a commercial sector. For example mining, agriculture or urban shuttles. You will work in tight collaboration with product and commercial managers in your team ensuring that we deliver commercial solutions. This is a senior role, requiring a diverse set of skills, as it is a role of immense impact.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Representing Oxa to the customer and being the outward and inward facing representative of the product built around them
  • Leading a team who are singularly focussed on a product providing a driverless vehicle solution (hardware, software, operations) to a set of customers with common requirements.
  • The delivery of the product that improves our customers\' business by using Oxa\'s autonomy products/platforms. Your team encapsulates this relationship and they and you are proactive
  • Providing a quality customer experience. You do this by ensuring the internal engineering teams building the customer solutions are in receipt of high quality requirements, technical planning and communications. This involves partnering with Product Management to define the work packages that close gaps in our solution and align with customer requirements.
  • Leading and coordinating analysis activities and workshops that identify user workflow gaps, product performance issues and root causes of problems.
  • Driving and owning cross-team execution of initiatives related to your product.
  • Reviewing design proposals and work plans for completeness and cross-compatibility.
  • Responding to technical questions from the customer and leading discussions/presentations on the solution.
  • Driving the adoption of metrics-based reporting of development initiatives related to the product and its delivery.
  • High-quality, data-driven reporting on product progress.
  • You are the owner of the product with the customer and communicate clearly for all levels of the engagement with stakeholders external and internal to Oxa.
  • Resourcing for the product delivery and driving hiring for your team
Requirements:

What you need to succeed:
  • Experience in autonomous vehicles and the application of robotics and automation technology to commercial settings
  • You are a natural \xe2\x80\x9cunblocker\xe2\x80\x9d. You naturally take ownership of problems and revel in driving things forward.
  • You have an analytical mind, you are a structured thinker that can work in a fast-paced complex matrix environment
  • Extensive experience in interfacing with customers and partners. You love meeting customers and making what they need.
  • Extensive experience in working with Engineers and describing the vision of the product and the need for components needed to succeed in that product delivery
  • An ability to understand both strategic and tactical requirements in product delivery.
