We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. This role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate imaging and patient care. The Sonographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic information.
Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound findings.
Collaborate with physicians to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnosing conditions.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning, reporting any issues promptly.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures during all procedures.
Stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques and technologies.
Experience
A solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential for this role.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining certification in sonography practices.
