Job Description

We are an online military surplus retailer based in Glasgow. Military surplus is clothing and equipment which various countries armies no longer require and therefore sell on.

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Sorter / picker & packer and become an essential player in our efficient logistics operation! As a Warehouse operative, you will be responsible for accurately sorting, organizing bundles of clothing, boots and rucksacks. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse. This hands-on, fast paced role which requires physical stamina, organisation, and attention to detail.

During busy periods you will also be required to help with pick and packing of orders. You will be required to pick items from the warehouse and then accurately pack them for dispatch.

The work will involve: using a PC to print off order invoices and labels, labelling of bags, picking and packing orders from the warehouse, unpacking incoming stock, barcode labelling of stock, stock management and maintaining a tidy work space.

No prior experience needed as we will supply training to the chosen person. Candidates must have a good level of concentration to ensure clothing is being labelled correctly, be comfortable using computers, be physically fit as you will be walking around a warehouse and have good organisational skills.

Must be educated to a minimum of National 4 level and be competent with computers

Working hours:

Mon-Thurs: 7.30am to 3.30pm
Fri: 7:30am to 2.30pm

Overtime may be offered, compensated at 1.33 times the standard wage.

Contract length: 4 weeks

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
