We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will be responsible for leading a team of cooks, maintaining food safety protocols, and contributing to the overall success of our culinary offerings in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Job Role
Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient food production.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Help create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
5 days a week 7am-3:30pm
Experience
Previous experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
Proven ability in team management and leadership within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
A passion for culinary arts with an eagerness to learn and grow within the industry.
