Purpose of the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Stove, working closely alongside our Executive Chef and supported by a dedicated kitchen team. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the creation of exceptional culinary experiences for our guests, adhering to the guidance provided by our Executive Chef and with the support of our Development Chef. As a vital member of our kitchen brigade, you'll play a key role in upholding our commitment to delivering high-quality food that exceeds our guests' expectations.

Role Requirements

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes across all aspects of our food operation, from breakfast through to dinner service and everything in between. Beyond culinary excellence, you'll assist in the management of various administrative tasks, including staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Additionally, you'll be involved in menu preparation, inventory management, and cost control, with a keen eye for identifying and addressing potential risks promptly. Your creativity will shine as you propose new menu options based on seasonal changes and guest preferences, contributing to the ongoing success of our dining offerings. Moreover, you'll actively participate in kitchen operations, ensuring smooth execution of meal arrangements while maintaining impeccable hygiene standards and safety protocols. As a leader within the kitchen, you'll support and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
