We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production and presentation.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of service.
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and cleanliness standards.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain organisation within the kitchen, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and stored.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment.
Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective team management skills.
Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
