We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and the preparation of high-quality meals. You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining the standards of food safety and hygiene in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed consistently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Participate in menu planning and development as needed.

Requirements
Proven experience (min. 2 yeas) as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
2 years fresh food experience
Level 3 food safety.
Grill chef experience - preferred.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.
