Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and managing staff. Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality. Collaborate with the team to develop innovative menu items. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when needed. Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Handle any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices. Proficient in food preparation, cooking methods, and presentation skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
