Duties



Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and quality control Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and minimise waste Support in menu planning and development, incorporating innovative culinary ideas Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service during service hours

Requirements



Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings with a focus on high standards of service Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent team management skills Ability to organise workload effectively under pressure during busy periods Strong understanding of food production processes and quality control measures Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not essential A passion for culinary innovation and continuous learning within the hospitality industry
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,420.00-37,259.63 per year
