Family run business looking for experienced Sous chef to join our hardworking kitchen team. Food is prepared fresh on site with a varied seasonal menu, and daily changing specials.
Maintaining high hygiene, health & safety standards in the kitchen, excellent cooking skills, preparing food to a high standard. Good communication skills, excellent time management skills to effectively prepare for the busy hours of service, knowledge of food prep methods & presentation, ability to work under pressure. Ordering goods in the Head chefs absence, supervising and running the kitchen in head chefs absence.
Experience in this role is required, honest, hard working & being reliable is also a must, maintaining a positive and professional approach with colleagues.
Being able to work as part of team, checking goods in, keeping work station clean and tidy at all times to comply with food safety standards
