We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are maintained
Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and safety guidelines
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Monitor kitchen operations during service periods to uphold efficiency and quality control
Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen setting
Extensive food preparation and cooking experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong background in food safety standards and hygiene practices
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Knowledge of food production techniques and culinary trends
Experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism
