We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to create exceptional dining experiences. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, and managing a team of dedicated kitchen staff in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the kitchen team in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive team atmosphere while promoting professional development. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to ensure profitability. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation. In-depth understanding of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen. Proven experience in supervising a kitchen team, with excellent leadership abilities. Background in restaurant operations, including menu planning and cost control. Exceptional team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding dining experiences to guests.
