We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef to join our professional culinary team. Duties
Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring
Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, freshness, and safety compliance
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in line with health and safety regulations
Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and minimise waste
Support the development of new menu items and culinary innovations
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper handling of ingredients at all times
Lead by example in maintaining a positive team environment and fostering professional growth among staff
Requirements
Proven supervisory experience within a busy kitchen environment
Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
Experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings with a focus on quality service
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
Passion for culinary arts, innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
Relevant qualifications in hospitality or culinary arts are desirable but not essential
