Main Responsibilities - Sous Chef Duties in a Professional Kitchen

Work closely with the Head Chef to create exciting, high-quality dishes across all mealtimes and special events. Maintain consistently high standards for food preparation, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation. Train and guide junior chefs, fostering a positive, team-based kitchen culture. Assist in managing stock, controlling food costs, and reducing waste. Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and allergen procedures at all times.

Who We're Looking For - Ideal Skills & Experience for the Sous Chef Role

Background as a Sous Chef, or experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong teamwork and communication skills with a hands-on, collaborative approach. Organised, calm under pressure, and driven to deliver excellent results every service. Creative, passionate about food, and eager to contribute new ideas. Willing and able to work a flexible rota including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
