As the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu development, and team management, ensuring that our restaurant maintains its reputation for quality and excellence.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while maintaining the restaurant's unique identity. Ensure all food preparation meets high standards of quality, presentation, and taste. Oversee food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary to enhance efficiency.

Requirements



Proven experience as a cook or chef in a high-volume restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and food production techniques. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
