Duties
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and maintaining consistency in taste and quality.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and enhance existing offerings.
Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and support to foster a positive working environment.
Assist in managing kitchen schedules to ensure efficient workflow during service hours.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
