Key Responsibilities:
Menu Execution:
Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Mexican dishes, ensuring that each plate reflects the high standards and vibrant flavours of our menu.
Recipe Adherence:
Follow established recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency and quality across all dishes.
Kitchen Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Ingredient Quality:
Select and source fresh, high-quality ingredients, paying special attention to authenticity and flavour.
Food Safety:
Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards, ensuring that the kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Inventory Control:
Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably with a focus on Mexican cuisine or a strong interest in exploring Mexican culinary traditions.
Culinary Skills:
Expertise in various cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
Food Safety Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of food safety practices, kitchen hygiene, and health regulations.
Time Management:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with precision.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes, techniques, and kitchen systems as needed.
